As an Ironman Foundation Ambassador, all of my Ironman brand races have me RACING FOR MORE. I am proud to be a representing IMF and all of the good that can come from their initiatives. With that in mind, I am asking you to sponsor a mile in my next Half Ironman in Roanoke, VA. In past races, I have thought of and leaned on the inspiration of my supporters when the going gets tough during a race. I have smiled thinking about quotes they have shared or advice they have given. For IM70.3 Virginia's Blue Ridge, I will have those quotes and advice "tattooed" on my arms and legs.

Things to know about
Virginia's Blue Ridge Course and when I will need the MOST inspiration:
Swim:
Miles 23-28 will be the most difficult climb, so these are great miles to sponsor!! I will need lots of inspiration for both. For the 8 miles after that main climb, there is more climbing, which wouldn't be bad on its one but will be super tough after the main climb.
Run:
You already know that the run will be my weakness of the day and it will likey be very hot on this run. Overall it will be a flat course, but no shade. You can't go wrong with leaving me inspiration for any part of the run course!

Swim:
There is only 1 mile to sponsor on the swim, make sure you give me an easy to repeat mantra ;-) I often sing to myself when I'm swimming - so a song will work, too!
Bike:
